On Sunday 25 April 2010 it was the Greener Living show in the new forest - and footprint friends attended to be right in the middle of it with our foot painting message!
The greener living show is all about showing how we can live in an enviromentally smarter way.
The best thing about it for me is a chance to spend a weekend camping in the new forest; probably the most spectaculour piece of natural wilderness in the country, and the chance to get close to some real wild horses!
HOW IT WENT
We all had an amazing time: We awoke to wild horses and ponies around our tents, and had a much welcome opportunity to blast the cobwebs from our winter muscles on a bike ride on the saturday!
Weather at the greener living gallery was perfect on the day and a good turnout made it really enjoyable.
Green Technologists, Eco Warriors and Entrepreneurs all were displaying the latest in green technology Including a car driving simulator, Insulation made from wool, and the latest and greatest solar and wind technology.
Footprint friends generated lots of interest and we were busy the whole day painting and colouring people's feet: Check out the pictures in our MFTC gallery!
