Announcing the ten finalists for the 2009 Footprint Friends WOW Awards - 50 wonderful WOW ideas were submitted from school teams around the country, all great ideas!, and we’ve chosen the ten WOW ideas we felt would have both the maximum impact and the most chance of being implemented in schools nationwide.

Footprint Post 2 ezine - Summer 2009

Hello all. Over the summer our Footprint Friends team have been busy behind the scenes adding new features like the GALLERY UPLOAD for all members, painting famous feet - we even got a letter from Ed Miliband! Million Feet to Copenhagen

Footprint Friends is inviting all young people no matter what their age, to either paint their feet and/or write a poem within the theme of ‘my dream for the future’, and have it included in a ‘book of dreams’, which will presented to the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in December. In this way each ‘foot’ will be symbolically present for the conference.

Countdown to Copenhagen - The WOW awards

Announcing the first annual footprint friends UK schools WOW awards sponsored by PowerPerfector. Footprint friends is calling all UK school-age students from year 6 and above (10+) to team up and present ONE BIG WOW IDEA to Wipe Out Waste in their school before a green dragon’s den award ceremony at the Frontline Club in London in November.
