The Wipe Out Waste Awards 2010 are now Open!
HELLO all you champions of change! After the huge success in 2009 of WOW – Wipe Out Waste, Footprint Friends and powerPerfector are excited to announce the Wipe Out Waste competition for 2010 is now open! Check out the Film!
Students from any school in the country are invited to present their ideas for reducing waste to help save resources and our environment. Their ideas will be judged by a panel of green dragons - some of the Biggest names in climate change.
The winning teams and their teacher(s) will be asked to be a part of taking their WOW idea into production nationwide. The winning school will have a complimentary powerPerfector unit installed by the awards sponsor, enabling the school to potentially reduce their energy usage by up to 20% !

Making your ideas work
To help fight climate change, ideas on their own are not enough! Footprint Friends and powerPerfector are hard at work putting the winning WOW idea from 2009 - an ingenious invention to save half the pencils used in the UK into production. The waste saving device will be used by schools across the country.
